I know, I know, it’s not even Spring and here I am talking about Summer. It’s almost cruel, isn’t it? Well, you’ll thank me later for a heads up on this summer’s hottest shows and exhibitions. No, they aren’t free….but if you’re going to spend the ££, you might as well make it worth it…and these, dear readers, are worth it.

1. David Bowie is… at the V&A

Do you love David Bowie? Then get to the V&A for the first international exhibition on his life and career. You’ll find handwritten lyrics, original costumes, music, instruments and more. The name says it all. No matter what you think of him, David Bowie is…and icon.

2. The Drowned Man: A Hollywood Fable, co-production with Punch Drunk & the National Theatre

Punch Drunk, internationally acclaimed immersive theatre company, have announced their newest show, a co-production with The National Theatre. Held at an undisclosed location in Zone 1, it is rumoured to be their biggest endeavour yet. Prices are steep, but if you’re a student, unemployed or under the age of 26, concession price tickets will be released for performances after July 4th on midday on Mondays for the following week. If you want to be a part of a show that people will be talking about for years to come, The Drowned Man will be an immersive experience that you will never forget.

3. Bolshoi Ballet at the Royal Opera House
