A celebration of London’s up and coming design talent!
The people behind Hackney Flea Market bring you the DIY Art Market, a new bi-monthly market celebrating London’s emerging and established independent artists and makers. With more than 50 handpicked independent DIY exhibitors, Sunday 29th of March will be the best day to discover unique pieces at affordable prices.
Items for sale include everything from self-published publications, to lo-tech ceramics, illustration, photography, origami, art prints, jewellery, zines, sewn items, custom tees, homemade cassettes, outsider comic art, screen prints, records, artist books, clothing, & some indefinables.
Some of this months exhibitors include: Laura Gee, Esther Mcmanus, Decadence Comics, Anna Beam, Belly Kids, Sandra Dieckmann, Ben Rider,Alice Russell, Hoxton Mini Press, Sam Baldwin, Murray Somerville, Charlie Mellors, Sam Gull and Hannah Prebble. As well as DIY art, local DJs will be playing a suitable obscure selection of modern & long forgotten treasures, and local bakers will be manning the on-site cafe, with an array of tasty homemade delicacies.
Entry to the market is free and it all kicks off at 11am.
