More London Free Festival’s Film Season
The long evenings may be coming to an end, but More London has one more month of its free festival to help you say goodbye to summer.
All you Broke in Londoners should be familiar with the Free Festival in The Scoop every summer, and the array of cultural activities on offer, from free theatre to lunchtime gigs and sports screenings on a big screen.
Free Open Air Free Screenings
This September, the film season kicks off on a 26 ft projection screen on London’s Riverside. The programme ranges from classic and cult to contemporary favourites and includes such crowd-pleasers as The Sound of Music and Frozen, as well as recent critically acclaimed films such as Selma and Still Alice.
The films will be shown in The Scoop at More London which is a sunken amphitheatre located on the More London Riverside. Festival goers will also get the chance to sample the culinary delights of the London Riviera pop-up which has been taking London by storm this summer with its fresh and delicious flavours and on-trend tropical décor. Inspired by French Riviera chic and Miami glamour, London Rivera has been garnering critical acclaim and was described by Grazia as “the must visit pop-up of the season”.
