A Parade of Hits - Broke in London

A Parade of Hits

Free party to celebrate the 3rd Anniversary of Queens Parade

Queens Parade, an active and vibrant community of independent businesses since March 2012 are kicking off its 3rd birthday celebration. An evening of experimental art, live music, inspiring stories, drinks, pizzas and great company!

The free event will also launch the short film of the story of Queens Parade, which depicts:

  • How an underused corner of Willesden Green has been transformed into a community hub.
  • How it has brought a different cultural offer and entertainment to the area.
  • How it has supported individuals, businesses and organisations and provided apprenticeships and job opportunities.

During the night there will also be an exhibition of photographs capturing the history of the project that will be spread over all the shops and snacks from our local restaurants. Moreover you will be able to get a free cartoon portrait by Willesden Green’s local artist Anthony Lovindeer  and goody bags to fill with gifts from all the shops at the event. At 8.30pm there will be live music performance by Dukes of York, at A Pop Up Wonderland, unit 8. The band is playing a variety of Soul, Motown, Pop and Jazz.

Be sure to arrive early and don’t miss out the free taste of Sanzio’s fantastic pizzas and the ‘A Parade of Hits’ film projection at BAR Gallery, unit 4.
