Big Art Mob Shows World’s Public Art - Broke in London

Big Art Mob Shows World’s Public Art

Big Art Mob: Putting Big Art on the Map
London’s Public Art is easier to find than ever! Ages ago, Londoner Alfie Dennen, with the the support of Channel 4’s Big Art Project, started compiling a list of public artworks and mapping them. Today, you can see the result of that labor in the form of a website and an interactive app: BigArtMob. Rather than define public art for you, they’ve asked you to define (and re-define) it for yourself. You can upload and tag your own discoveries to the map for the rest of the world to enjoy by creating an account on their website.
When asked about his motivation for creating Big Art Mob, Alfie said: “we want to de-fragment how public art is documented and talked about, making a global hub for public art discovery.”
So get out there and start discovering!
