£1000 travel grant to UK based musicians
If you are a musician, you should pay attention in this one and act fast. We have just found out, about a really cool travel grant that might help you show your work abroad! I am a musician myself and performing abroad has always been a BIG dream of mine. Therefore, I really wanted to share this TIP, as it might be helpful and valuable for some of you!
So here it is: Sound and Music, in partnership with the British Council are giving a £1000 travel grant to musicians based in the UK, to travel abroad and to attend or perform at overseas events. You can find further info through British Council’s website.
By the way, you should definitely check (and even like & follow on Facebook and Twitter) Sound and Music. It is an awesome agency for new music, that provides composer and artist support and development as well as a variety of partnerships and opportunities for musicians.
Call for applications are open and the deadline is noon 13th January 2014.
