The first Camberwell Free Film Festival is almost here! The festival takes place from 14 to 24 of March 2013 and it’s organised by Free Film Festivals which is a community group formed in 2010 aiming to promote free film screenings in interesting local venues. Free Film Festivals also promotes filmmaking workshops, such as animation sessions for children – to help people gain new skills and interests! The festival’s program is really interesting and diversified and includes free film events in various community venues across London SE5. You can find a printed guide from all venues and some local outlets from next week. The festival is completely run by volunteers so feel free to come along and help them in any possible way! So write down the days and be sure not to miss this great initiative!
