Comida Fest: Free Latin American Food Festival at Oxo Tower Wharf

Comida Fest, Latin American street food festival

By Amber Davis

Comida Fest is launching its first ever Latin American food festival this spring at Riverside Walkway (by Gabriel’s Wharf) South Bank SE1 9PP.

Lose yourself on a culinary journey from Mexico to Argentina, enjoy the tantalising tastes of Latin American street food, drink legendary cocktails and dance along with the famous Latin vibe.

16 and 17 April: Celebrate Malbec World Day with CAU to experience an excellent range of wines, find out more about the famous grape, dance the tango and enjoy authentic tastes of Argentina.

21 and 22 May: Shake it at the Latin American music bonanza with Movimientos playing everything from Salsa to Reggaeton.

EAT DRINK FIESTA

With a huge variety of traders at the event, you’ll be able to sample Cuban sandwiches, indulge in artisan ice cream and cool yourself with classic cocktails after burning some serious calories taking on the tango. The festival includes entertainment and games for families and children so everyone can enjoy a Latin American fiesta.
