Summer sure can be expensive, and with August being a long month we’re doing all we can to cut down on spending. But have no fear, we’ve scoped out some of the best events happening in August that are completely free, all at Paddington’s Merchant Square!

BIGGEST MULTI-PLAYER GAMING SCREEN IN LONDON

Outdoor Video Gaming

Bringing outdoor gaming to the biggest multi-player gaming screen in London. Challenge friends and family to Mario Kart or Mario Sports on the big screen, and you might even see your name on leader board showing the best scores throughout the summer.

When: Every Monday and Friday in August from 12pm-2pm

SUMMER BOOTCAMP WITH JADE JOSELYN

SUMMER BOOTCAMP WITH JADE JOSELYN

Get fit for free with Insta-famous personal trainer Jade Joselyn at a weekly Full Body Bootcamp workout. Each 50-minute session incorporates both cardio and bodyweight strength elements.

When: Every Tuesday from 6pm

HIGH ROPES COURSE

Ever wanted to see how well you cope with heights? This High Ropes Course will let you challenge your friends and family to see who can get around the course the fastest! 

When: Wednesday 14th and Thursday 15th August from 8am-5pm

LASER QUEST

Enter the darkened inflatable arena with swirling fog and score points against your opponents by shooting your rivals gun in the time limit. This one’s not just for kids – get your work pals involved too, but make sure to book ahead.

When: Wednesday 28th and Thursday 29th August from 11am-3pm each day

Lucy May Walker

Head down to the most unique outdoor venue in London, the Floating Pocket Park and listen to Lucy May Walker play her beautiful acoustic tones. In association with the London Busking Company, Lucy got her break when she was spotted by BBC Radio 2 presenter Jeremy Vine at Charing Cross station.

When: Thursday 29th August from 5:30pm
