free golf lessons for beginners

I was always fascinated by golf, watching posh people in movies gathering at the golf field with their cosy golf carts, fancy clothes and golf clubs. So, I was thinking that golf is for posh and wealthy dudes and dudettes and I never thought I could give it a try until 2 days ago! Why is that right? Because I found out that I could get free golf lessons!

World of Golf is offering free beginners golf lessons which originally cost £60, so here you go! If you want to learn how to play golf or at least how to hit the ball with confidence and style here is your chance (at least this is MY chance!). The offer includes 6 one hour long weekly lessons as well as free loan of a 7 Iron, giving you the opportunity to learn step-by-step the basics of golf. However, cost of range balls is not included which by the way I have no idea what that means because I don’t even know if I will or if I have to use this type of balls. There are two centres close to central London where you can apply for the free lessons, one in Croydon and the other in New Malden. So, first choose the right centre and date and then you’ll have to wait for  them to contact you to confirm your free place. You can find further info through World of Golf’s website.

There are 2 more golf clubs offering free golf lessons in London. The Central London Golf Centre in Burntwood Lane, London, SW17 provides free one hour golf tasters every Saturday at 3pm, while the Urban Golf is offering free half-hour golf lessons at all three Urban Golf clubs in London. In all cases you will need to register with the club to book your free taster.
