Free screening of exclusive Dame Angela Lansbury interview

Happy Birthday Dame Angela Lansbury!

Earlier this year Poplar Film held a film festival in honour of everybody’s favourite amateur detective, Angela Lansbury. Hundreds of Jessica Fletcher and Eglantine Price fans enjoyed classics including Gaslight, as well as more obscure titles such as The Company of Wolves. An undoubted highlight of The Angela Lansbury Film Festival was an hour-long interview she gave, chaired by Sir Christopher Frayling, the former chairman of the Arts Council and Governer of the BFI.

For those that were unable to attend the festival, or for anyone who wants to relive the experience, poplar film will be releasing the full interview to stream or download for one month from Dame Angela’s birthday – 16th October. In addition there will also be two free screenings alongside the monthly Bite street food market in Chrisp Street on the 31st October. The interview gives a fascinating insight into the acclaimed actress’s life and career and is a must-see for all her loyal fans!
