FREE women’s history walking tour part of Women’s History Month

Hey everybody! There’s a FREE women’s history walking tour (usually £9) today, Thursday 14 March at 3.00pm, part of Women’s History Month. This historical tour visits sites associated with women who have defined Whitechapel and Spitalfields. You’ll hear stories of such significant figures as Eva Luckes and Edith Cavell at the London Hospital; radical campaigner Annie Besant; and philanthropists Mary Hughes and Miriam Moses. The walk also explores locations related to influential characters in the contemporary cultural scene such as artist Tracey Emin and author Monica Ali.
