Summer in the City – culture, history and (hopefully) sunshine
The City of London (Square Mile) is London’s oldest quarter and home to some of the UK’s most famous attractions, inspiring museums and galleries, striking architecture, beautiful gardens and world-class performance venues. City of London Festival – 23 June – 26 July
This year’s annual festival has a packed programme of world-class concerts, performances, walks, talks, debates, exhibitions and outdoor events. Enjoy one of the many FREE classical music concerts, open-air ballet and look out for the mobile orchard, a living orchard accompanied by music and street art. Sculpture in the City – New arrivals in June

Michael Caine at the Museum of London – Until 14 July
FREE exhibition exploring how Michael Caine’s background as a rebellious working-class Londoner influenced his personal life and acting career. Open daily 10am-6pm.
