London Marathon 2014 – TFL Updates

The London Marathon 2014 on Sunday 13th of April

Did you know that the London Marathon 2014 is next Sunday 13th of April? That means that more than 35,000 runners will pound the streets of London and there will be also hundreds of thousands of spectators along the route.. It also means that many roads will be closed and the tube, Overground and DLR will be super busy – expect it to be like rush hour all day! So the best way is to plan your journey in advance. There are lots of closures this weekend Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 April. Have a look below:

  • Central Line | Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 | no service between Marble Arch & Liverpool Street.
  • DLR | Saturday 5 April (after 11pm) and all day Sunday 6 | no sercvice between Stratford & Bow Church.
  • London Overground Sunday 6 | no service between Richmond / Shepherds Bush & Camden Road (via West Hampstead).
  • Metropolitan Line | Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 | no service between Wembley Park & Uxbridge / Northwood.
  • Northern Line | Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 | no service between Edgware & Camden Town.
  • Piccadilly Line | Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 | no service between South Harrow & Uxbridge.
