7 Awesome New Year’s Eve Parties in London With Free Entry

London can be an expensive place at the best of times, yet New Year’s Eve is a definite exception, with everything going up in price, from the taxis, to the nights out, to the cost of drinks. Luckily this year at least the Night Tube will be ready to ferry you about, from party to party, whatever the time though if house parties aren’t really the thing for you, we have found the best parties to head to in town for no cost at all. (We mean, obviously you will have to pay for drinks, duh!) But all of the parties on our list are offering free entry.

2016 has been a grim year so why not end it properly with drinking and dancing in true Broke In London style!

#1 | Anise NYE Palace Party | Liverpool Street

Step into the Anise winter palace for a glamourous New Year’s Eve in the centre of the city. All guests will also receive a free Kir Royal Champagne cocktail on arrival… can’t say fairer than that! There’ll be a mix up of different music genres, so there’ll be something for everything.

#2 | The Midas Touch New Year’s Eve Party At The George | Isle of Dogs

Drinking and dancing until the early hours at this traditional pub on the Isle of Dogs. The theme is gold and fancy dress is encouraged! Tickets are free and get you guaranteed entry.

#3 | New Year’s Eve Soul Soul Soul Train | Shoreditch

For the hippest, hoppest party this New Year’s Eve, head to the Strongroom Bar and Kitchen, where DJs where will be spinning real vinyl all night. On top of that, there is will be dancing competitions, 70s’ cocktails, cult classics on the big screen and a mirror ball. Tickets also get you queue jump before 10pm. Groovy!

#4 | Little Nan’s Deptford NYE party | Deptford

For a party that’s kitch and fun, with more leopard print than an episode of Eastenders, head to Little Nan’s Bar. They’ll be moving out all of the furniture so that everyone can have a proper knees up with their favourite cocktails.

#5 | Big Apple Brixton | Brixton

One of London’s newest pop-up parties is back for a bang this Christmas and New Year’s Eve. Dance away the night in a little slice of the NYC, right here in south London. There’ll be street food, cocktails and music from DJ Scoop. It would be mad to miss out!

#6 | White Post Cafe | Hackney Wick

Like a house party away from home, White Post Cafe will be throwing out the tunes, with everything from disco, deep house, 80s, garage & party starters to make sure there is always something to dance to.

#7 | Little Bat Bar | Angel

Who said going out in the city had to be expensive? Head to the Little Bat Bar this New Year’s Eve to indulge in cocktails galore, plus a variety of little treats. Just to make sure you keep going all the way to midnight, all cocktails will be just £8 all night, whilst if you book for 4 or more, you also get a free glass of champagne and canapes! What more could you need to dance the night away?
