Online shopping just got better…

Shopping online is not only the most convenient way of shopping, but you can also save money by staying home! Running a simple Google search will bring up pages and pages of results for discounts and promo codes that are only available for online shoppers. Some of the best sites are VoucherCodes.co.ukHot UK Deals and Vouchercloud but there are many more.

What kind of discounts are on offer?

The discounts vary depending on what you are buying and how much you are spending. Normally, the discounts will start at 10% off or you may receive free delivery. Some retailer’s will offer an extra discount for those who are using the online service for the first time.

So how does it work?

The discount site will normally give you a promo code that you need to input onto the retailer’s website. Most often, this will be on the ‘shopping cart’ page or just before you checkout. The discounted amount is then deducted from your total bill.

This sounds too good to be true…

It’s not. Whilst the process of finding a really good discount code can be tiresome – you may need to scroll through pages of expired codes before finding one that works – it really is worth it in the end. I recently used discount codes for an H&M purchase and received 25% the highest priced item AND a further £5 off for being a new customer. The items were already on sale meaning that I only paid £15.90 to have three items delivered right to my doorstep!

Whilst nothing beats the thrill of the high street and trying on item after item until you find your perfect fit, if you are wanting to save a few pounds and shop from the comfort of your own couch then search for promo codes before checking out.
