Renegade Craft Fair in London 2013

3rd Annual Renegade Craft Fair in London

The Renegade Craft Fair is a distinctly different shopping experience. This year, why not skip the High Street shops altogether and visit The 3rd Annual Renegade Craft Fair in London, where you can start your holiday shopping early and find a wide variety of handmade gifts. This free to attend craft, design and DIY spectacular will be held at the Old Truman Brewery on November 9 and 10, 2013, from 11am – 6pm each day, and will feature today’s finest indie-craft talents from around the world.

Expect to find a wide variety of incredible handmade goods at the Fair – including jewellery, stationery, clothing, ceramics, art prints, plush objects, homewares and more. You can browse this year’s line-up of 100+ talented makers to find your favourites (and make a shopping list). In addition to the curated lineup of artists selected by Renegade, Folksy, the definitive online marketplace for Modern British Craft, will present Folksy Selected, a hand selected group of 12 of their favourite UK makers. The Renegade Craft Fair in London is a great opportunity to shop local, and support the talented artisans in your community.

Create your own ornament with A. Alicia, who is celebrating the launch of her new book “Make it Your Own.” Try out your sewing skills with a plush workshop hosted by DK London and led by Jane Bull, author of “Crafty Creatures.” The Amazings, a group of experienced elder crafters, will be on site to teach basic hand quilting techniques. Finally, Mollie Makes has partnered with Anova Books to offer a cross stitch primer with Sophie Simpson, author of “Storyland Cross Stitch.”

With opportunities to shop handmade and learn a new craft, Renegade promises to offer a weekend of DIY fun. Visitors are invited to take a photo to remember their visit to this DIY celebration in the free photo booth provided by LOOKLOOK!
