The best budget things to do this weekend!

So it’s the weekend of Donald Trump’s inauguration and whether you are celebrating or commiserating, you shouldn’t let it keep you in the house. Especially when there are so many cheap or free things out there to enjoy in London. So forget about America (if only for a few hours) and get out there and enjoy yourself! There’s also time left to enjoy the best, free things to do in January, as well as some free art exhibitions, if the fancy takes you!
#1 | Biggest UK Record Fair | Victoria | £3
Vinyl is now more popular than ever and if you want to get your hands on some of your own, head to the UK’s biggest record fair. Dealers will be coming from all over the country with rare vinyl from the genres of Prog rock, Punk
Rock and Hip-Hop to Soul, Reggae and Doo Wop.
When: Saturday 28th January, (12pm-5pm).

#2 | Winter Lights | Canary Wharf | Free
See several light installations and interactive art that represents four different continents in this very trippy light display in Canary Wharf.
When: All weekend (exhibition until 27th January, 4-9pm).
Where: Locations throughout Canary Wharf.

#3 | How Does It Feel To Be Loved | Marylebone | £6.60
This club night marks the 40th anniversary of the release of Spiral Scratch by Buzzcocks. They’ll be playing the every track from the single as well as the music of James Hoare of Ultimate Painting and Veronica Falls.
When: Saturday 21st January 2017 (From 9pm).

#4 | Glastonbury: Land and Legend | V&A | Free
An immersive film and sound installation shot over the course of the Glastonbury Festival in 2014. The film will be a mix of interview, footage and experience from the course of the weekend.

Just when everyone needs a smile on this inauguration weekend, then this comedy night at The Cavendish Arms is for you with a stellar line-up. The event is free but donations are encouraged.
