The best budget things to do this weekend!

To cocktails on a rooftop in Rotherhithe to a cheesy festival of fun in Camden to a rare opportunity to visit a sewing machine museum, we’ve got the lowdown on plenty of FREE reasons to get out and about in London this weekend. So whether the suns shining (or even if it isn’t) there’s no excuse not to get out and about in the city. But don’t just take our word for it, have a look for yourself!
#1 | The Midnight Apothecary | Rotherhithe | £5
Head for the launch party of Campfire Cocktails, which is back for it’s sixth year on the roof of the Brunel Museum. Sip on seasonal botanical cocktails and toast marshmallow whilst the sun sets.
When: Friday 5 and Saturday 6 May 2017 (5:30pm-10:30pm).

#2 | The Youth Club | Camden Market | Free
YOUTH CLUB invites you to Unite and Take Over at Camden Market, with a photography exhibition, talks and screenings that celebrate London’s most iconic subcultures.
When: Friday 5 – Sunday 7 May 2017 (exhibition open until 26 May).
Where: The Provender Building, Camden Market.
#3 | The London Sewing Machine Museum | Balham | Free
Only open for one day a month, the sewing machine museum is opening it’s doors. There are 600 machines on show, including the machine which was given to Queen Victoria’s eldest daughter as a wedding present.

#4 | The London Cheese Project | Camden Market | Free
Camden Market is hosting a brand new cheese festival celebrating the huge variety of cheeses made by underground producers from inside London. During the two-day festival, you can buy and talk to some of the capital’s top urban cheesemakers, taste dishes their fave foodies and hear talks on a variety of topics.
When: Saturday 6 -7 May 2017.

#5 | Little Rippers Film Club | Waterloo | Free
Kids can relax and have a giggle or two with family favourite Minions, as well as taking part in an hour-long Skate Skool session at the House of Vans.
