There are a lot of great free things to do in London this weekend 2-4 October. On Friday, Late at Tate Britain explores representations of status through time with free screenings, music, talks and installations. On Saturday, there is an interesting live pop/punk music night at Silver Bullet in Finsbury Parkas (part of the We Shall Overcome weekend of events taking place all over the country in solidarity with all those at the sharp end of the austerity cuts). On Saturday and Sunday, you can head down to Brixton to the Crafty Fox Market where you will find over 90 makers, designers and crafters offering a pick of homewares, jewellery, prints and gifts. Finally, it’s the last weekend of the year at Dinerama on Great Eastern Street in Shoreditch so if you love quality street food you shouldn’t miss this last chance to visit the famous pop up food market. The Best Free London Events of the Weekend

1. Late at Tate Britain: Power at Tate Britain, Millbank, SW1P 4RG – Friday 2 (6pm – 10pm)
   Tate will be open till late to tackle ideas of power through screenings, installations, live music, art and talks.
2. We Shall Overcome event at Silver Bullet, Finsbury Park, N4 2DH – Sat 3 (6pm – 11pm)
   A night of great pop/punk music part of the We Shall Overcome weekend – Free with charity collection.
3. Dinerama Season Finale at Shoreditch, EC2A 3EJ – Fri 2 & Sat 3 (noon – 9pm) Free before 7pm
   Final weekend of Dinerama – 6 street diners, 6 bars, 5 street food shacks, 2 trucks and 1 DJ.
4. Crafty Fox Market at The Dogstar in Brixton, SW9 8LQ – Sat 3 & Sun 4 (11am – 5pm)
   One of our favourite craft markets in town featuring London’s best makers, designers and crafters.
5. Photomonth 2015 in various venues all over East London – From 1st Oct – 1st Nov
   A 1-month-long festival celebrating photography in galleries and venues across East London.
