The best events this weekend 9-11 May
There is a massive amount of free events in London every single weekend… Lots of them are crap and we just don’t want to suggest random free gigs. The whole idea behind this post is to suggest events and gigs that we would also like attend, so we try to select the top 5 that we find. By the way, we also include Friday events because for most of us the weekend starts from Friday right? So, without further ado here is our Top 5 Free Events in London this weekend!
►Imperial Festival at Imperial College’s South Kensington campus – Fri 9 – Sat 10
Free public event with hands-on science demonstrations, music, comedy, dance and art.
►Silicon Milkroundabout at The Old Truman Brewery, E1 6QL – Sat 10 – Sun 11 (noon to 5pm)
A must-attend job fair for all jobseekers who are dreaming a job in a startup.
►Phonica Records at 90 Main Yard, E9 5LN – Sat 10 (6pm-midnight)
A new monthly super event by Phonica Records! From funk & soul to disco & house, hosted! This is a must!
►London Radical Bookfair at Bishopsgate Institute, EC2M 4QH – Sat 10 (10am-5pm)
A gathering of radical exhibitors, guest speakers + book awards, workshops and more.
►Chestnut Sunday at the Bushy Park, TW12 2EJ – Sun 11 (12:30pm – 4:30pm)
There will be a parade, a fairground, a 50s band, classic cars and historical re-enactment groups.
