There are many cool free things to do in London this weekend. We are super excited about the launch of the Camberwell Free Film Festival which take place in various venues across London SE5. Moreover, on Friday there is the launch of Being There’s ‘Overnight’ EP at Birthdays in Stoke Newington and on Saturday the National Learn to Play Day where everyone get the chance to learn a new instrument from professional musicians. So, without further ado we present our Top 5 Free Events in London this weekend 20-22 March 2015. ►Being There EP Launch Party at Birthdays Dalston, N16 8BJ – Fri 20 (7:30pm – 10pm)
A nice live gig to celebrate Being There’s new ‘Overnight’ EP; live indie pop and lo-fi pop sounds and DJ sets.
►Camberwell Free Film Festival in various venues across London SE5 – 19-29 March
Eleven days of free film screenings in Camberwell, all events are free and no tickets required.
►Free screening of Secrets + Workshops at Deptford Lounge, Deptford, SE8 4RJ – Sat 21 (1.30pm – 3.30pm)
A series of short films that examine the work and experiences of internationally known visual artists + workshops.
►National Learn To Play Day in various venues across London and the UK – Sat 21
Head to one of the participating venues and have a free “taster” lesson on a musical instrument that you like.
►Create, Scratch, Refine, Repeat. at Morley Studio Theatre, SE1 7HT – Fri 20 & Sat 21 (7pm – 9:15pm)
Interesting performances of work in progress from some of London’s most exciting up and coming theatre companies.
