The best free things to do this weekend 4-6 April
There is a a massive amount of free events in London every single weekend… Lots of them are crap and we just don’t want to suggest random free gigs. The whole idea behind this post is to suggest events and gigs that we would also like attend so we try to select the top 5 that we find. By the way, we also include Friday events because for most of us the weekend starts from Friday right? So, without further ado here is our Top 5 Free Events in London this weekend!
►Thierry Noir’s solo show at the Howard Griffin Gallery, E1 6HU – Fri 4 April to 5 May (12pm – 8pm)
First solo exhibition of the legendary Thierry Noir who was the first street artist to paint the Berlin Wall.
►Pillow Fight Day at Chrisp Street Market, E14 – Sat 5 (from 2pm)
A pillow fight to celebrate International Pillow Fight Day and to kick off the The Angela Lansbury Film Festival.
►First Saturdays at LimeWharf in Vyner Street, E29 DJ – Sat 5 (11am – 11pm)
A new initiative similar to First Thursdays featuring free film screening, live music, tasty food and more!
►Spring Festival at the London Designer Outlet in Wembley Park – Sat 5 (10am – 6pm)
This suggestion is ideal for those who want to renew their wardrobe and have a fun day.
►Hanwell Hootie Music Festival in various small venues in Hanwell – Sat 5 (4pm-11pm)
Second year of this nice 1 day music festival featuring 30 bands to celebrate Jim Marshall’s legacy in the area.
