The best events this weekend 7-9 November
As always there are a lot of exciting free things to do in London this weekend. However we’ve managed to pick the top 5 including also some Friday events. We are excited about the EP Launch gig of Crash Island at The Stillery and the Lord Mayor show. There is also a nice street art charity event in Holborn as well as a bonfire night event at the Village Green Market. ►Crash Island + special guests at The Stillery, Kentish Town
A great night for indie rock lovers. Crash Island celebrate the release of their new EP Stormy Nights
►London Street Art Charity Event in Fox Court, Holborn – Sat 8 (4pm til late)
Live painting and art exhibitions from a selection of street artists, cool music and more – Supporting the charity Uthink
►The Lord Mayor’s Show between Blackfriars and Waterloo bridges – Sat 8 (starts at 11am, fireworks start at 5:15pm)
Lots of events, special exhibitions, guided walks, a massive parade and the best firework show in town
►YesNoDisco: Sexy V Sexist at Platform Bar, Netil House, E8 3RL – Fri 7 (9pm-1am)
Dance and decide whether songs are sexy or sexist as two DJs battle it out back to back
►Bonfire Night at The Village Green Market, E8 2BT – Sun 9 (noon–6pm)
