Unashamedly one of London’s biggest draws, the West End draws in hundreds of visitors from around the world every single day. However with summer around the corner, the thought of coughing up for the sometimes extortionate ticket prices of big-name theatre productions and sitting in hot, stuffy theatres may feel wildly off putting.
Never fear however, as West End Live will be back for it’s twelfth year this June, bring the best of the top shows in London to Trafalgar Square. Now a huge family event in the London calendar, expect to see performances from some of the West End’s biggest stars, extracts and songs from top shows as well as many more exciting events. The 2016 events calendar has not yet been released, however last year’s line-up included big names such as Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Mamma Mia! And Wicked.
The best thing about this event? It’s absolutely free! This means you get a taster of some of the most highly sought after theatre and musicals in the world without spending a penny. The event is open for two days (Saturday 18th June and Sunday 19th June) and is not ticketed: you simply have to turn up!
Visit the West End Live this June and have a sing along, put a spring in your step and keep those pennies firmly in your pocket.
