By Manolis

If you’re looking for free things to do in London this summer, Wembley Park has you covered. As part of its Summer Rocks programme, the neighbourhood is hosting a week full of art, family activities, live experiences, and markets — all completely free.

From colourful public art to creative workshops, weekend markets, and more, there’s something for everyone. And the best part? No tickets are required — just turn up and enjoy.

Here’s a look at what’s on the week commencing 18th August 2025, including events over the Bank Holiday weekend.

1. YELLOW 25 – Wembley Park x Pantone

📅 Until 30th September 2025
💷 Free

Step into a celebration of music, colour, and creativity with YELLOW 25, a striking art installation created by Wembley Park in collaboration with Pantone.

Marking the 25th anniversary of Coldplay’s breakout hit Yellow, this immersive piece transforms the Spanish Steps into a visual journey of the song itself. Over 58 steps, the colour palette shifts from soft, muted shades to rich golden tones — mirroring the build of the track from gentle verses to its soaring chorus.

Connecting Wembley Stadium to the OVO Arena Wembley, this walkable artwork is a beautiful tribute to British pop history and a must-see for music fans and art lovers alike.
