The best events this weekend 11-13 July
As always there are plenty of free things to do in London this weekend from free music events to free exhibitions and festivals. However, as you may have already realised most of them are nothing special… We just don’t like to give a shout out about random free gigs so the idea behind this weekly post is to let you know about the best free weekend events in London that we would also like attend. By the way, we also include Friday events cause for most of us the weekend starts from Friday evening, no? This time we have picked some great festivals like the Bastille Festival and the Peckham festival. Without further ado here is our Top 5 Free Events in London this weekend 11-13 of July 2014! ►The Peckham Festival at Holy Grove Park, SE15 5DF – Sat 12-Sun 13
A nice local street market with workshops, live art and music performances, yoga and beer tasting, talks and more
►Bastille Festival 2014 at the Bankside and Borough Market – Sun 13 (12 noon – 10pm)
We simply love the Bastille Day, London’s largest Free Bastille Festival to celebrate France’s national day!
►The Floating Cinema Open Air Weekender Central in various places in Kings Cross – Sat 12 (1pm-midnight)
An awesome day of film screenings, music and workshops celebrating Chinese Culture (booking is essential).
►The Streatham Festival in different venues across Streatham – till Sun 13
One of our Top 10 Free events this month. Free art events and gigs taking place along the street & around the area.
►The Soho Village Fête + Soho Waiters’ Race at St. Anne’s Garden, Soho W1 – Sun 13 (noon-6pm)
An annual festival of food, music and fun. Don’t miss the waiter’s race!
