There are lots of nice free things to do in London every single weekend but in this weekly post you will find the best 5. This weekend is packed of nice free festivals. As always we have also included Friday events cause for most of us the weekend starts from Friday evening, right?? This weekend there are some exciting film festivals such as the Portobello Film Festival which lasts till the 14th of September as well as the Peckham and Nunhead Free Film Festival. Without further ado here is our Top 5 Free Events in London this weekend 5-7 of August 2014! You can find more free London attractions or free sport activities.
►The Portobello Film Festival at Unit 11 Acava, W10 6RJ W11 & W10 – till 14 Sept
Probably our favourite free film festival showcasing independent films and video mostly from British filmmakers.
►New Artist Fair London at the Old Truman Brewery, F Block T2, E1 6QL – Sat 6 – Sun 7 (12pm-6pm)
A nice annual 3 day fair showcasing the work of 60 new, talented and recently established contemporary artists
►Chatsworth Road Festival at Chatsworth Road, E5 0LH – Sat 6 (10am-9pm)
Nice live music (don’t miss Myriad Forest), sound systems, a bike race, street food, a dog show and an after party.
►Peckham and Nunhead Free Film Festival, at 25 venues across SE15 – from Thu 4 – Sat 13
30 screenings at 25 venues across SE15 including the Peckham Rye outdoor cinema.
►The Urban Food Fest 2014 at Euro Car Parks, E1 6HU – Sat 6 (5pm-midnight)
We waited a whole year for this one.. 15 street food trucks & stalls serving gourmet global dishes.
