A Free event part of Camberwell Free Film Festival
This is an event that you should definitely not miss this weekend! As part of Camberwell Free film Festival, the free event Hello Africa brings you the sights, sounds and flavours of the African continent today Saturday 23 March at The Whirled Cinema (259-260 Hardess Street, Loughborough Junction SE24 0HN). The event will start at 7.oopm and will include the Screening of the animation Godfather/Le Parrain (at 7.30pm) and Congolese feature documentary film Benda Bilili (at 8:45pm), live DJ sets (from 7.oopm), live music from Ethio-jazz & funk band The Abyss Quartet (at 11:15pm) and Live Spoken Word, plus percussion jam and Bombo Tropical Djs (at 8.oopm). There will be local Ethiopian food and drinks will be on sale to keep you going.
