Free Guided Walks in Islington

2 Free Guided Walks in Islington this month

The Islington based arts charity The Rowan Arts gives us the chance join architecture journalist Tony Minichiello for two Free walks on May 18th and 19th, exploring the architecture of religious buildings around Islington! This is a great opportunity to learn about their history and how the physical structures relate to spiritual beliefs, and hear from those who worship inside.

The first walk will take place on Saturday 18 May 2013, 11am-2:15pm and will be dedicated to South Islington
Start Point: Wesley’s Chapel, 49 City Road EC1Y 1AU | End Point: London Central Mosque, 146 Park Road NW8 7RG

The second one will take place the next day Sunday 19 May 2013 1-3:30pm around North Islington
Start Point: North London Buddhist Centre, 72 Holloway Road N7 8JG | End Point: St Joan of Arc, 60 Highbury Park N5 2XH.
