Fleamendous news!
London’s best alternative free weekend market returns this May Bank holiday weekend.
Hackney Flea Market sets the standard for distinctive vendors, a place where you’ll find locals clearing the contents of their loft, selling alongside veteran traders from the likes of Spitalfields and Bermondsey vintage markets.
Expect to find a hall packed full of an amazing mix of salvaged, one-of-a–kind, lost n found objects, couture items, and handmade goods. On the day you’ll find things like, Vintage Clothes, Honky Tonk Textiles, Vintage Furniture, Art House Movie Posters, Records, Comics, Vintage Hi-Fi, Handcrafted Jewellery, Curiosities & Collectables, Antique Luggage, Atomic Era Electricals, Zines, Handmade Goods, Bike Bits and much more.
Local musicologist ‘Private Avalanche’ will be manning the sound system, so expect to hear an array of modern, and long forgotten musical obscurities. There’s also an on-site café selling a smorgasbord of tasty homemade delicacies to keep you alert for a bargain.
It will be full of strange and wonderful stuff for sure, doors open at 11am.
