Hackney WickED is Back on 16 to 18 August
Hackney WickED Festival turns 6 years old this year! This super cool Free festival which takes place in various unusual environs throughout Hackney Wick and Fish Island Hackney offers three days of Free art events, open studios, performances, music, workshops, tours, talks and debates and more. The fest aims to provide a platform for local artists to showcase their work next to established international names. In case you are not familiar with the area it’s good to know that Hackney Wick’s community of artists is purported to house the highest concentration of artist’ studios in whole Europe and most of these studios will open their doors for Hackney WickED Art Festival. There will also be live music over Saturday and Sunday, starting at 1pm till late.
