Pop-up food concept Star of Kings in Kings Cross
Austria takes control of the kitchen at the Star of Kings! Speck Mobile the famous food truck, serving traditional dishes from the mountains of Austria will be manning the stove for 3 months at the Kings Cross pub. Schnitzels, Knoedels, Apple Strudels and lots of other delicious specialties will be served from Monday through to Sunday!
The Star of Kings and Speck Mobile are proud to invite you to the launch party on the 6th February, 7pm. The weather is cold and miserable, so come down, get warm by the fire place and indulge in FREE Austrian treats and beer (between 6pm & 7pm, on a first come first serve basis)! This food pop-up is the first in an ongoing series of kitchen takeovers and the venue will be welcoming a new nationality every 3 months to keep things exciting!
The Star of Kings, located in the heart of Kings Cross and across the street from Granary Square & Central Saint Martins, is spread over three floors and offers entertainment and great food all week. Club nights in the amazing dark basement, live music on the ground floor or comedy nights on the first floor, there’s a bit for everyone. The bar also features a great selection of ales and spirits and every Thursday you can enjoy cocktails half price for the venue’s 2-4-1 session.
