The best events this bank holiday weekend
There is a massive amount of free events in London every single weekend… Lots of them are crap and we just don’t want to suggest random free gigs. The whole idea behind this post is to suggest events and gigs that we would also like attend, so we try to select the top 5 that we find. By the way, we also include Friday events because for most of us the weekend starts from Friday right? So, without further ado here is our Top 5 Free Events in London this bank holiday weekend!
►Nubiyan Twist Live at the Forge, NW1 7NL – Fri 23 (free after 10pm)
Nice dance driven afro-beat, dub reggae grooves from the 10 piece outfit Nubiyan Twist.
►Central Saint Martins Degree Show at King’s Cross campus, N1C 4AA – Fri 23-Tue 27 (noon-6pm)
A nice event for art lovers, featuring work of graduates in art and science, photography and fine art.
►Soho Flea Market on Dean Street, W1 – Sun 25 (11am – 7pm)
The annual designer crafts event returns with lots of food, drinks live music and more.
►DIY Cultures 2014 at Rich Mix, E1 6LA – Sun (noon – 7pm)
A day-long festival of zines, artist books, talks, films, poetry, video art, workshops and more.
►Africa at Spitalfields, E1 6AA – Mon 26 (11am–4pm)
120 Stalls representing 54 countries in 1 African inspired market celebrating the diversity and vibrancy of Africa.
