There are many cool free things to do in London this long Easter weekend. This time we are excited about the Passing Clouds Festival which has free entry on Saturday before 9pm and the screening of the classic silent film The Passion of Joan of Arc with live score by Irene Buckley on Friday at Union Chapel on Friday. Moreover, on Saturday there is a nice mini art festival with exhibitions and live music at The Shacklewell Arms in Dalston and Trellis Records’ party at The Islington. So, without further ado we present our Top 5 Free Events in London this Easter weekend 3-6 April 2015. ►The Passion of Joan of Arc with live score at the Union Chapel – Fri 3 (starts at 6.30pm)
A classic of the silent age with live score by electronic musician and composer Irene Buckley.
Passing Clouds Festival at Passing Clouds, E8 4AA – Sat 4 (Free before 9pm)
Head to Dalston to listen to an eclectic mix of rising stars at one of our favourite music venues in town.
LION PAW: A Free Art & Music Festival at The Shacklewell Arms, E8 2EB – Sat 4 (12pm-late)
All-day mini festival with 12 hours of ace live music and free art in the name of human kindness.
►Trellis Records Presents…Trellis Turns 1 at The Islington, N1 0XT – Sat 4 (19.30)
The label is celebrating its first birthday with a great line up featuring Axel Flovent, Brooke Bentham, Mat Hunsley.
Sunday Organ Recitals: Rachel Mahon at St Paul’s Cathedral, EC4M 8AD – Sun 5 (starts at 4:45pm)
