There are lots of free things to do in London this weekend. The main highlights are the Canary Wharf Jazz Festival, 3-day music festival featuring live jazz music from a number of great jazz musicians and The Elephant and the Nun 2015 in Burgess Park, an annual festival filled with performances and activities. Moreover, there are 2 interesting gigs; The Wig Whams, Witching Waves and Mellah are playing at The Finsbury on Friday night and the Canadian pop duo Vogue Dots at the Waiting Room on Saturday. Finally, it’s the last weekend of the Sadie Coles exhibition June: A Painting show featuring some great artwork from 14 international artists. So, without further ado we present our Top 5 Free Events in London this weekend 14-16 August 2015.     London’s largest free jazz festival, a must-attend event for jazz fans.

    3 nice live music acts and 1 DJ set, expect from punk to surf and garage sounds.
  3. June: A Painting Show at Sadie Coles, Oxford Circus, W1B 5QN – Fri 14 – Sat 15
    The last 2 days of this very interesting exchibition, collating the work of 14 artists from around the world.
  4. The Elephant and the Nun 2015 in Burgess Park, Southwark, SE5 – Sat 15 (12pm – 8pm)
    Three performance areas, massive markets, funfair, sports, art installations, delicious food and more.
  5. Vogue Dots at the Waiting Room, Stoke Newington, N16 0LH – Sat 15 (8pm)
    A nice gig featuring the Canadian new experimental pop duo Vogue Dots.
