The best events this weekend 16-18 May
There is a massive amount of free events in London every single weekend… Lots of them are crap and we just don’t want to suggest random free gigs. The whole idea behind this post is to suggest events and gigs that we would also like attend, so we try to select the top 5 that we find. By the way, we also include Friday events because for most of us the weekend starts from Friday right? So, without further ado here is our Top 5 Free Events in London this weekend!
►Zonk Disco 2nd Birthday at the Bussey building/CLF Art Cafe, SE15 4ST – Fri 16 (10pm–5am)
2nd Birthday for the famous disco party featuring Andy Blake, Tusk, Stupid Human (free before 11pm).
►Free Guided Walks across London – Sat 17 – Sun 18 (starting times vary)
Walk London’s annual ‘Spring into Summer‘ event featuring 43 free walks across London led by expert guides.
►Spring Shopping Festival on Earlham St WC2H – Sat 17 (noon to 5pm)
Over 130 shops, bars, cafes and restaurants will be offering 20% off, free pimms, ice cream and popcorn!
►Herne Hill Free Film Festival at Brockwell Lido, SE24 0PA – Sat 17 (starts at 8.30pm)
Free screening of the beautiful Beasts of the Southern Wild (2012) – first come/first served basis.
►The Village Green Market’s Mayday Market at the Hackney Downs Studios, E8 2BT – Sun 18 (11am-6pm)
A cool event with awesome makers, lost of nice food a ping pong tournament, free yoga session and more!
