The best events this weekend 30-1 June
There is a massive amount of free events in London every single weekend… Lots of them are rubbish and we just don’t want to suggest random free gigs. The whole idea behind this post is to suggest events and gigs that we would also like attend, so we try to select the top 5 that we find. By the way, we also include Friday events because for most of us the weekend starts from Friday right? So, without further ado here is our Top 5 Free Events in London this weekend!
►Open Studios and Art Exhibition at Euroart Studios, N15 4QQ – Fri 6 – Sun 8
North London’s largest artist-led studios group open its doors to the public until Sunday.
►Elephant Parade at intu Uxbridge, UB8 1LA – till 29 June (9am – 7pm)
The world’s largest open air art exhibition of decorated elephant statues is a good reason to visit Uxbridge.
►Pocket Places Peckham Spaces across four Pocket Places along Rye Lane – Sat 7 (11am till late)
World class street artists in action, workshops, food and drinks and live music! Do you need more than that?
►Made in London Festival at JW3, NW3 6ET – Sun 8 (from 11:30am – 7pm)
Live music, Street theatre, Artisan Market, food and drinks, Interactive Bus and more.
►Open the Gate 5th Anniversary at Rich Mix, – Sun 8 (noon to midnight)
An awesome celebration of African culture, 12 hours non-stop of live music, arts, crafts, design and culture.
