Long gone are the times when Valentine’s Day meant romantic, candlelit dinners for couples in love and drunk, sad nights for singletons. This year we celebrate Valentine’s Day for what it is. An ideal opportunity (it does fall on a Saturday) for everyone to get together, celebrate love and party all night!

#1 Yes No Disco | Friday 13th | Platform Bar & Terrace (FREE ENTRY)
Shake all the bad luck of Friday the 13th off your backs with a good disco night! ! From 9pm, DJs will play ‘Friday the 13th’ related tunes. But as the clock turns to midnight, throw some love hearts and cupid confetti and be prepared for some serious love songs! Fancy dress is recommended.

#2 Friday I’m in love | Friday 13th | The Phoenix (£5-£6)
Karaoke is apparently a thing of the past. Enter: sing along events. And the Phoenix’ guys are like your sing along gurus! On Friday the 13th they will be doing a massaoke (their word, not mine!) of old movies. Expect the likes of Dirty Dancing, Back to the Future and Top Gun and be prepared for hilarious singing and laughing.

#3 Free Valentine’s Party | Friday 13th | Basement (FREE ENTRY)
As Valentine’s Day starts, you will be dancing along to cool, funky tunes: Hip-Hop, Soul, Disco, House, Reggae. It is the doctor’s orders after all!

#4 Daliee’s Jukebox ‘One Love Valentine’s Party’ | Saturday 14th | The Book Club (FREE ENTRY before 9pm, £5 after)
The folks at The Book Club have prepared an intense 6-hour dance event for you. Hackney Polo Club will be playing one of their infamous “This Is for Lovers” house sets alongside the best party vibes and all things bassline, as Daliee’s brings you an eclectic mix of reggae, breaks, garage and UK House. This night definitely counts towards your fitness goals!
