Free Short film night at Genesis Cinema

London’s monthly in-depth short film screening night S4 is back with a great film, a great new venue and the great news that S4 entry is now free..! But first things first.. a film screening night with a difference, S4 looks at one short film in-depth each month. Over the course of the night they will look at the life cycle of each short’s production, from the page to production and post, right through to a screening of the finished film. Guests include writers, directors, producers, crew and more!!! Each stage of the night is designed to open up the creative processes of short filmmaking in relation to each other.

This month they are showing mind-bending time-travel thriller The Hindsight Bias. Their guests include director Nick Parish, producer Chris Eeles and other crew members TBC… Entry is 100% free so head to Genesis Cinema (93-95 Mile End Road, Whitechapel, London, E1 4UJ) tomorrow around 7pm to collect your tickets from the cinema’s box office and install yourself upstairs in Bar Paragon for the screening to start promptly at 7pm with the Q&As kicking off straight after for a 9pm finish. Happily the bar stays open until 11pm for extra filmic chinwagging… The guys behind S4 also hold a charity collection for the Cinema and Television Benevolent Fund, so if you like the whole concept just contribute to help them continue their great job! Don’t forget to follow S4 on Facebook & Twitter.
