Hackney Flea Market is back!
Our favourite Hackney Flea Market is back this coming weekend! Hackney Flea Market is all about the thrill of finding some personal treasures in a creative, and vibrant space. All stall holders are hand-picked and they vary the stall holders from Saturday to Sunday, and from month to month, so you’ll always find something unexpected. They lots of veteran sellers from established markets like Spitalsfield/Bermondsey, selling alongside locals clearing out their loft, as well as up and coming designers selling limited editions of handmade goods.
You’ll find various things like, reclaimed industrial fixtures, vintage clothes, 20th Century furniture, records, Scandinavian glass & ceramics, handcrafted jewellery, hand drawn maps, salvaged French homeware, antique luggage, curiosities and collectables, mid Century Danish decor, and atomic era electricals. So if you need to give your flat a vintage touch I am sure that Hackney Flea Market will be the right place for you.
Music is an integral part of the market, our sound system is sometimes manned by local DJs, playing vinyl rarities, or we compile playlists which are an eclectic mix of rare and obscure musical treasures. So expect some quality music while going around the market. As market regular Thurston Moore commented, ‘the music here is amazing’.
