The best budget things to do this weekend!

After the Oxford Street Christmas lights were switched on last week, the countdown to Christmas began….and we’ve still got six weeks to go! It might seem like a long time but it’ll go quickly, so don’t forget to get ahead on present buying by checking out the best alternative Christmas markets in London. However, if you aren’t in the Christmas mood just yet, check out the non-festive, budget things happening this weekend.
#1 | The Lord Mayor’s Show | River Thames | Free
Follow the procession of the flotilla down the Thames and meet the new Lord Mayor. The day finishes with fireworks so make sure you stay til the end!
When: Saturday 12th November 2016 (9am-5:15pm).

#2 | Dulwich Christmas Bazaar | Dulwich Village | Free
Go and check out the craft of local artists, eat, drink and maybe pick up a present or two at the Dulwich Christmas Bazaar.
When: 12th November 2016 (10am-5pm).
Where: St Barnabas Parish Hall, 23 Dulwich Village, SE21 7BT.
Cost: Free.
#3 | Peckham Featival | Peckham | Free
The Peckham Feastival opens for the first time this weekend, hosting some of the best food and drink pop-ups, as well as seeing live DJ’s take to the decks.
When: Friday 11th November (5pm-late)-Saturday 12th November 2016 (12pm-late).

Cost: Free to enter.
#4 | London Festival of Bulgarian Culture | Holborn | £10/free
Part of the fourth London Festival of Bulgarian Culture at Conway Hall, get ready for an exciting exploration of the top Bulgarian musicians.
When: Sunday 13th November 2016 (6:30pm-8:30pm).
Where: Conway Hall, 25 Red Lion Square, WC1R 4RL.
Cost: Free for under 25s, £10 otherwise.
#5 | RHS London Urban Garden Show | Westminster | £6
A whole host of workshops, exhibitions and demonstrations presented by the RHS that allow you to learn about looking after your urban garden, whether it be a terrarium or a living wall! There will also be DJs and street food on hand to keep you occupied.
When: Saturday 12th-Sunday 13th November 2016 (10am-5pm).
Where: RHS Lindley Hall, SW1P 2QW.
Cost: £6 in advance.
