This is the weekend all music fans were waiting for. The Record Store Day is finally here and that means there will be lots of nice free live gigs all over the country. Rough Trade East and West will host some great live acts while Birthdays in Dalston will host a special double release party for Cousin and Claw the Thin Ice’s new albums. Be sure to check out Record Store Day’s official website to find more gigs. Moreover, Model Market returns to Lewisham with a great selection of street food traders and on Sunday there is a free screening of Claude Sautet’s Classe Tous Risques at Foyles Film Club. So, without further ado we present our Top 5 Free Events in London this weekend 17-19 April 2015. Festival Quiz

Street Feast Model Market in Lewisham – Fri 17 & Sat 18 (5pm-1am – FREE before 7pm)
Model Market is back with a nice selection of street food traders, enjoy delicious street food and refreshing cocktails.
►VESTED INTEREST: Record Store Yay at Birthdays, Dalston – Sat 18 (2pm – 10pm)
A special Record Store Day bonanza and double release party for Cousin and Claw the Thin Ice’s new albums.
Record Store Day at Rough Trade East and West – Sat 18 (from 12pm)
Both records stores will host some great free live performances and DJ sets, Arrive early to avoid disappointment!

All the independently owned record stores come together with artists to celebrate the art of music.
Classe Tous Risques at The Auditorium at Foyles, Charing Cross – Sun 19 (2:30pm)
Free screening of the French Italian classic gangster film at Foyles, reservation is essential.
