Free Pop-up Cinema in South London

Who wants to be sat indoors this summer at the cinema and be charged an arm and a leg for it? Certainly not us, that’s why Vauxhall Village are bringing a free pop-up open air cinema featuring 6 amazing films to the Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens this summer. Kicking off June the 3^rd Vauxhall Village are taking over the Pleasure Gardens with free movies, all you need to do is; tell your friends, dig out that picnic rug and turn up!

So I bet your wondering what films are on…

• Tuesday 3^rd June – Best in show (12) ‘satirical cult classic about a dog show in America’
• Tuesday 10^th June – Mean Girls (12a) ‘The fetchest high school comedy’
• Tuesday 17^th June – Alan Partridge: Alpha Papa (15) ‘Arguably Norwich’s best export gets his own film’
• Tuesday 8^th July – Slumdog Millionaire (15) ‘Vauxhall Village have teamed up with the Big Dance week to enjoy Bollywood dancing workshops before the film’
• Tuesday 15^th July –This Is Spinal Tap (15) ‘Classic mockumentary about legendary British rock band Spinal Tap’
• Tuesday 22^nd July- The Big Lebowski (18) ‘Cohen brothers cult classic and everyone’s favourite bowling movie’

There will be an array of delectable treats to purchase from some of London’s top street food stalls, a bar selling Kopparberg and other drinks, and of course Propercorn popcorn to munch on during the movie. And if you’re feeling rather flush you can treat yourself to hiring a Vauxhall Village deckchair and blanket to snuggle up and enjoy the film.
