The best budget things to do this weekend!

With a chill in the air and killer clowns on the loose, it’s understandable that you might not fancy going out this weekend. But out motto at Broke in London is “carpe diem” or in other words: seize the day! When there are so many things to go out and do, you can’t be worried about scary, painted faces or being chilly… grab that coat, don’t go down any dark alleys and enjoy all that London has to offer in October!
#1 | The Boosh Club | Shoreditch | Free
This Mighty Boosh exhibition opened at The Book Club on Thursday, so this is the first weekend in which to take advantage of the unseen photographs and artwork on display.
When: All weekend. Exhibition will run until Sunday 29th January, 2017.
Where: The Book Club, 100 – 106, Leonard Street, EC2A 4RH.

#2 | Affordable Art Fair | Battersea | £8
Whether you are interested in buying, or just want to check out some really cool artwork by both emerging and established artists, the Affordable Art Fair is a great place to head, with all work priced between £100 and £5000.
When: Friday 21st October-Sunday 23rd October. (Fri, 11am-6pm; Sat & Sun, 10am-6pm).

#3 | London Brewers’ Market | Clapham | Free
Help Venn Street Market celebrate their fifth birthday by welcoming in the London Brewers’ Market: showcasing the best in independent, London brewers, such as Anspach & Hobday and the Gipsy Hill Brewing Company.
When: Saturday 22nd October, (10am-4pm).
Where: Venn Street Market, Clapham Common, SW4 0AT.

#4 | Edible Walk with John Resten | Charing Cross | £3
Explore the city as you’ve never seen it before with this guided tour led by famous forager John Resten. Learn about edible plants that are commonly found in the centre of London and hunt out some of your own in the area between Oxford Circus and Charing Cross.
When: Saturday, 22nd October, (12pm-1pm).
Where: The tour will start in the Foyles bookshop on Charing Cross Road.

#5 | Bloomsbury Festival | Bloomsbury | Free
As a celebration of the vibrant community of Bloomsbury, this festival will be a series of ‘open-house’ style exhibitions, talks, parties and installations centered around the theme of ‘Language’.
